An extensive list of agencies, churches, and programs is maintained to provide assistance with housing, medical services, financial aid, transportation, food, and other specialized services.  Offers annual assistance for those needing emergency life threatening medications.  When FEMA funds are available, one month’s rent is provided to assist those who face eviction from their homes.  Also provided is an after-hours emergency food pantry, to assist those in need, when all other pantries are closed.  The Information and Referral Department additionally maintains a full range of health and social services for St. Clair County and the surrounding areas.  Information on resources is collected and updated on an on-going basis.
