Annual Fund

There are men, women, and children in our community who are in need of your help and attention.  Their lives are in crisis, and they have exhausted their personal resources.  Chances are you have seen them on the street and not realized they need help.  Their lives are unmanageable, and they need somewhere they can recover, regroup, and regain their futures.

 

For 37 years, Call For Help has been a resource for those in need in the Metro East area.  Call For Help offers high quality supportive services to help people regain control of their lives.  As members of the St. Clair County business community, we ask that you consider supporting Call For Help this winter season.  Your donation makes a difference to the individuals we serve.  Here are some ways you can help:

Pays for one month of bus passes that allow residents to seek jobs or travel back and forth to work Or

Pays for thirty hours of telephone coverage on the 24-hour Suicide & Crisis telephone line

Pays for one week’s stay for a homeless man or woman in the residential programs Or

Allows us to increase storage of clothing so that we can give clothing to those in need when they come to us

Helps pay for two nights of care for a woman and her children in the Transitional Living Center Or

Provides ten emergency food orders when all other shelters are closed

Helps pay for 3 hours of telephone coverage on the 24-hour Suicide & Crisis Telephone line Or

Provides four emergency food orders when all other shelters are closed
